A round robin calculator splits a set of picks into every possible smaller parlay, such as all two-leg parlays from four legs, and adds up the cost and payouts. A round robin by 2s from four legs is six parlays, so it costs six stakes. Enter your legs and mark results to see what you're owed.

Assumptions and limitations
  • Each parlay pays the product of its legs' decimal odds times its stake; the round robin's return is the sum over all parlays.
  • A pushed or voided leg is treated as odds of 1.00 (the parlay pays at its other legs). Sportsbook rules can differ, especially for parlays reduced to a single leg.
  • Unsettled legs are counted as winning, so "return so far" is the most you can still collect.
  • Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.

How the round robin calculator counts parlays

The number of parlays is the number of ways to choose k legs from n:

LegsBy 2sBy 3sBy 4sBy 5s
331——
4641—
5101051
61520156

Each parlay pays the product of its legs' decimal odds times its stake. The round robin pays the sum.

A worked example

Four legs at +120, +110, -105 and +140, by 2s, $10 per parlay ($60 total):

ResultParlays that cashReturnProfit
All four win6 of 6$280.21+$220.21
The +140 leg loses3 of 6$130.15+$70.15
The -105 and +140 legs lose1 of 6$46.20−$13.80

The same $60 on a single four-leg parlay would return about $1,299 if all four won and nothing otherwise. Convert any of these prices with the odds converter.

What a round robin changes, and what it doesn't

A round robin changes the shape of your results: smaller top payout, more chances of a partial return. It doesn't change the expected value. Each parlay inside it carries the compounded sportsbook margin, and the round robin's expected value is simply the total of its parlays'.

For how that margin compounds, see the parlay calculator.

Frequently asked questions

How many bets are in a round robin?

The number of ways to choose the parlay size from your legs. By 2s from four legs is six parlays; by 3s from four legs is four; by 2s from six legs is fifteen. Each parlay costs one stake.

What does a round robin by 2s mean?

Every possible two-leg parlay from your selections, each with the same stake. With legs A, B and C, a round robin by 2s is A+B, A+C and B+C.

Is a round robin better than a single parlay?

Not on expected value: a round robin is just several parlays, so its expected value is the sum of theirs. It trades the big all-legs-win payout for partial returns when one or two legs lose.

What happens if one leg loses?

Every parlay containing that leg loses, and the rest still pay. By 2s from four legs, one losing leg kills three of the six parlays.
